SERVING SUGGESTION
Simply rub salt pepper or The Meat Guy's Original Steak Spice and grill them. Grass-Fed Beef doesn't have much fat. If you grill it well-done, it easily gets tough/hard. We recommend cooking it Medium-rare.

Cattle that are raised in a natural environment and only on grass are called "grass-fed beef." Eating grass means that the cattle are basically free-range and can move freely around the pasture, which has the advantage of reducing stress for cattle. The meat is mostly lean, allowing you to enjoy the original flavor and aroma of the meat.
On the other hand, most of the beef commonly eaten in Japan, such as Wagyu and domestic beef and even most of imported beef, is grain-fed beef. Beef raised on a diet mainly consisting of grain is characterized by its tendency to have marbling.

THAWING
Thaw frozen products slowly at low temperatures.
If thawing in ice water, the recommended time-length is about 4 hours per kg.
If thawing in the refrigerator, it takes about 24 hours per kg.
You can thaw it while in the package, but the package may open during thawing, causing leakage, so we recommend double-bagging or thawing on a tray or bowl.

I’ve bought this set a few times when it pops up on sale. Prices have increased over the past few years (but everything has). It’s still a good price for the value that you get. Thicker cuts than the supermarket are better on the grill.

Got this set at 50% off so I bought two! The filet was heavenly. The others will be similar, I’m sure. We’ve ordered plenty of times and never an issue. Quality is no longer inexpensive due to the weak yen, but we need to treat ourselves sometimes.
